1. A Journal Star subscription is helpful for staying informed about my hometown, but $5 a month is quite steep given the small quantity of articles (their writing staff is quite small) and the huge amount of ads.Great newspaper, horrible app.
2. They have access to acct to take payment every month then tell you that you read your free articles and wont let you see the articles untill you sign in again.
3. Very slow to update the news! The app still has old news articles.I like to read the paper, not read what you choose for me to read.
4. Downloaded the other app but I don't like the newspaper layout.I've been using the free trial for a few days and there are hardly any fresh articles.
5. The news might have an article or 2 that are new.I signed up for a yearly subscription, but everyday I have to uninstall & install it again for it to let me see anything.
6. Despite this, every day I have to uninstall and reinstall the app as it tells me that I have reached a limit on free articles.
7. Subscription now works w/o mult loginsDoesn't update with the day's articles.
8. It would be nice to view older articles; they added a search function, but it seems to only go back about 3-4 months.
9. Peoria news is printed and shipped from Springfield...local TV news is more reliable for up-to-date for local happenings.Displays old news.
10. I thought that since I have a subscription at home that I pay almost $60 a month for that this app was free.
11. The app works for three days and then kicks us off.Reliable delivery of the previous day and overdraft of national new.
I would like to cancel our journal star paper as of March 18th. I am on auto pay and want that canceled too! Need confirmation of this. I then would like the $1.00 for 6 month special for internet subscription.. I called and lierally got hung up on 3 times????? Where is the customer service????
