Omaha's Zoo Customer Insights

1. The text fields are too finicky - will wipe your text after you have entered it - and the membership lookup just flat-out doesn't work, rendering the app non functional for me.

2. Like so many others have said, it doesn't verify my membership and the link to reserve a time to see the elephants didn't work.

3. Many of the links don't work, information about attractions is outdated, and the map doesn't include many new features.

4. Linking your membership should be a cool feature, but the process isn't intuitive and requires you to check in at guest services anyways; really not providing any convenience there.

5. Now it crashed and only way to get it functional is to uninstall or clear data, which you guessed it, wiped my membership info.

6. Save your data and storage space on your phone for something else.Had Membership loaded previously.

7. When you enter all the information in to get your membership information it says there isn't enough information to find the membership.

8. Might as well use the old membership card.Works okay, but won't let you update your edit commands for persons in your membership.

9. The app requires access to phone storage/camera/location that it absolutely doesn't need for the limited features it offers.

10. Link to order food without standing in line didn't work.

11. With as many people visit this zoo on a yearly basis it is a shame they don't give the app the attention it sorely needs.I wanted to use this app for entry and purchase discounts because I sometimes forget my card.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Omaha's Zoo Issues

1. Fix Omaha's Zoo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Omaha's Zoo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Omaha's Zoo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Omaha's Zoo" » Open Omaha's Zoo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Omaha's Zoo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Omaha's Zoo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Omaha's Zoo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Omaha's Zoo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Omaha's Zoo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Omaha's Zoo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Omaha's Zoo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Omaha's Zoo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Omaha's Zoo not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Omaha's Zoo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Omaha's Zoo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Omaha's Zoo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
