1. I wasted an hour trying to place an order for pickup or delivery and every time it gave the same error.

2. It took a long time to load, my order was pending while I was in the drive thru and I wasn't sure it had gone through.

3. Also the option to schedule a pickup time is pointless because zero out of three times I tried it, I had to wait 20 minutes for the food to cook.

4. Deleting.The option to check in for a pick up order and being able to select your pick up location spot is definitely needed.

5. I can view my rewards, profile, find a store, anything, but when I click the Order button, I get stuck on an infinite loading screen.

6. Honestly it's easier to look at the menu in app and call the store versus trying to get this thing to work which is what I end up doing every time.

7. Inconsistent app design, but maybe that will be streamlined.Really enjoy the app until recently, all of a sudden the store doesn't have traditional wings on the menu except in some huge party pack.

8. Also, I downloaded the app for rewards but they are few and far between.This app will let you get your order together then freezes and crashes as soon as you try to confirm and send it through.

9. If they fix this, I'll gladly boost my rating to 4 stars.Since my first review of the app in July, it's become a lot more stable (and actually usable) in the last few updates.

10. I've lost 3 rewards so far because they've expired while I couldn't order.

11. What's the point of an app to order a head, and you still have to wait.App seems shaky.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zax Issues

1. Fix Zax Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zax: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zax App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zax" » Open Zaxbys » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zax » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zaxbys app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zax servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zaxbys" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zax app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zax might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zax. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zax then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zax not working


2. Fix Zax Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zax be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zax not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zax may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
