1. Already deleted and reinstalled, didn't work.We shouldn't have to delete and reinstall the app every time we want to use itThey changed the app so that it charges you immediately when you make the order instead of when you arrive to pick it up.

2. I always have an issue with the app, whether that be not being able to log in because of the stupid email system, being stuck in a loop where I cant order because it says there's still an order processing when there isn't, and the cart randomly adding menu items I didn't choose.

3. And while I can place an order and know I'll get it right at other restaurants, that's definitely not the case with McDonald's.This app has gotten terrible.

4. Usually I can bully in after a while, but then I've spent 15 minutes trying to place an order that should have taken me 30 seconds! When it works, it's great.

5. That makes it impossible to change locations or edit the order in case something goes wrong.

6. I tried with a couple of different cards, and all gave me the notification that the order couldn't be completed.

7. My order location was closed due to staffing.

8. When it actually works, one still cannot order precisely what they want.

9. It can remember my credit card, but not where I want to always order through.

10. I gave it an extra star since the deals are decent, and it knows when you're at the wrong McDonald's for pick up.This app sucks.

11. Every single time you add something to your bag there's a popup trying to upsell you more stuff and another popup confirming the pickup location.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix McDonald's Issues

1. Fix McDonald's Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart McDonald's: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the McDonald's App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "McDonald's" » Open McDonald's » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for McDonald's » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear McDonald's app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from McDonald's servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "McDonald's" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check McDonald's app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, McDonald's might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall McDonald's. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall McDonald's then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing McDonald's not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make McDonald's be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to McDonald's not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, McDonald's may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
