Why should I report an Issue with Sling TV: Live TV + Freestream?

1. Not much has changed apparently.It's a great app for watching cable TV at an affordable price, the only bummer is not being able to skip commercials on DVR recordings, at least give us the option to pause live TV during the commercials, I can live without the option to skip them during live TV watching but atleast let's pause during commercials.

2. Never gets choppy even at highest quality.... But why if I rewind after an on demand ad, do I have to see the ad one more time?? Code it so it knows I've already seen the ad and can continue watching if I decide to rewind or even pause! Local channels volume goes up and down randomly please fix!!Great TV, but very buggy app.

3. I wish they'd get their act together.Been a customer for over 10 years.. it used to be worth it, but now it is not much cheaper than basic cable and has basically become what it was created to avoid - another overpriced, barley functional streaming platform.

4. This is a big company?UPDATE: trying to add an add-on but it is trying to FORCEe to update to the $5 a month DVR Service.

5. I can after about 10 minutes each time of trying to get it to function without getting stuck at the beginning and playing the same ads in a never ending loop.

1. Fix Sling TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sling TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sling TV App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sling TV" » Open Sling TV: Live TV + Freestream » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sling TV » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Sling TV: Live TV + Freestream app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sling TV servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sling TV: Live TV + Freestream" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Sling TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sling TV might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Sling TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sling TV then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sling TV not working

2. Fix Sling TV Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sling TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sling TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sling TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
