1. Not paying.Used it for years with no problem and was actually pretty nice! They changed it with the recent update though that forced me into a free trial of the "pro version" and once that was over the app became unusable unless I pay for it.

2. I think it is fine for them to be "nag ware" and offer a 14-day "Pro" trial if I want it, but they should still allow one to chose the "free" version -- even if it is dated and old.

1. Fix Simple Gallery Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Gallery: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Gallery App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Gallery" » Open Simple Gallery » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Gallery » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Gallery app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Gallery servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Gallery" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Gallery app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Gallery might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Gallery. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Gallery then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simple Gallery not working
