SCOUTEK Customer Insights

1. Exodus cameras are nice but the app and response time is terrible.Not sure what is wrong, it does not respond! Now it says I have to download a new software but when I try to do it it says my software is up to date.Great app, and even better customer service!What's wrong with my email.

2. I wanted the ability to provide access (controlled access, who and what they can do) to my hunting group to view, change camera settings, provide locations, tags.. SCOUTEK provides all of this an a bunch more.

3. There customer support is great - trouble shooting to resolve issues was unreal - great job guys.2 things I've noticed about the app that needs addressed is that you cannot swipe through the pictures once you enter photos.

4. I use SCOUTEK to view my Exodus trail camera images and in the process of connecting other trail cameras to the app.

5. In the review dashboard (thumbnails) I can see all of the images from all cameras or filter them down to a specific camera, locations or tags.

6. I also like the ability to take images from more than one trail camera manufactures - and not just limited to a single manufacture.

7. This if very useful running multiple cameras in different leases and locations.

8. You have to click on every image, then back out and click on next image instead of just swiping through the photos.

9. Currently you have to select a photo, delete it, back out, select another photo, delete it amd repeat.

10. 2nd thing is deleting unwanted photos one by one is a pain.

11. If there is a batch delete I haven't found it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SCOUTEK Issues

1. Fix SCOUTEK Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SCOUTEK: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SCOUTEK App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SCOUTEK" » Open SCOUTEK - Camera Management » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SCOUTEK » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SCOUTEK - Camera Management app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SCOUTEK servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SCOUTEK - Camera Management" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SCOUTEK app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SCOUTEK might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SCOUTEK. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SCOUTEK then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SCOUTEK not working


2. Fix SCOUTEK Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SCOUTEK be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SCOUTEK not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SCOUTEK may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
