SailTimer Customer Insights

1. Developers, please improve maps options and Navionics interface.The £9 is not for Navionics chart themselves but only to unlock app to use a Navionics sign in if you subscribe to Navionics chart areas with Navionics.Most of time app in non responsible state.

2. The chart it brought up is next to useless and is not my Navionics subscription definition map.

3. Good idea but very bad realisation.Its a useless app, no AIS, navionics is cheaper n better from OEMs.

4. I have a Navionics subscription so in the settings, I selected charts, and Navionics.

5. Seems the developer has a way to go.Started off with a decent marine map, which was good.

6. I've uninstalled the App as the map is no good, not showing any Marine navigation marks.

7. After downloading the App, three attempts to register on a Samsung S23 Ultra.

8. The App won't let me go back to the default map that it started with, even after uninstall and reinstall.

9. Absolutely useless.

11. The app has now been deleted.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SailTimer Issues

1. Fix SailTimer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SailTimer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SailTimer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SailTimer" » Open SailTimer™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SailTimer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SailTimer™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SailTimer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SailTimer™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SailTimer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SailTimer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SailTimer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SailTimer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SailTimer not working


2. Fix SailTimer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SailTimer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SailTimer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SailTimer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
