REWE Customer Insights

1. Instead of spending 30min on the market, it takes now 10min to have it all done, it's amazing! The delivery is great and the vegetables were carefully selected (better than my husband's selection 😂) so I believe we won't ever have go to the market again 🥳I really like this app but I think our personal grocery list could also be listed in different ways, for example, in alphabetical order, by types of food/items, price, etc.

2. Discount products of the week should be added to the buying list too, not just staying in the discount area.Easy to use, well-designed.

3. The list of things comes from my last purchase is OK but then we have to go to Kaufen option to really add the stuff to list without seeing the price, another headache.

4. Glad to continue shopping at Rewe, but the app really doesn't make a lot of sense.LOVED IT We have saved our favorite items on a list inside the app so now we can easily add them to the shopping cart.

5. Also the shopping list and the fliers are confusing?? They show an item at a price, you add to your list and then to your cart, and the price is much higher.

6. Pfand: I wish there was an option to scan your Pfand yourself, I gave some Pfand back but not sure how the money is given back to me.Great app to go with an easy to use service.

7. Once in the buying list, you can click on the products and see what the price is.

8. For some reason many staple products are not available online, for example 'Ja! Kernige Haferflocken' are not available even though the 'Ja! Zarte Haferflocken' are available.

9. It's a big waste of time.Select time slot first!!! At first I thought this app sucked... then I realised that you have a different order to other apps.

10. This makes it much easier 2nd time round!The app shows discount products that are not discounted at the store.

11. Selection is extremely limited in my area, they only offer shipping by parcel and most products are overpriced.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix REWE Issues

1. Fix REWE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart REWE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the REWE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "REWE" » Open REWE - Online Supermarkt » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for REWE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear REWE - Online Supermarkt app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from REWE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "REWE - Online Supermarkt" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check REWE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, REWE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall REWE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall REWE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing REWE not working


2. Fix REWE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make REWE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to REWE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, REWE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
