1. Plus all of its great resources are available for free! if you're learning Japanese, I highly recommend trying out this app.this is a resource I've been searching after for a long time; everything in one stylish, visually pleasing package.
2. The lenient and adjustable schedule is also great, no worry of missing out or breaking a streak because you were busy a day.I love this app and how many ways it has to learn and practice Japanese! it's a little difficult since there are so many things I don't know in the examples (and I'm not starting from the beginning, since I have a semester of Japanese as a background), but that just pushes me to learn more.
3. Also the art style is cute!! I'm looking forward to seeing where renshuu takes my Japanese skills. As a complete beginner how had no idea where to begin, Renshuu was there and easily started a great journey to learning Japanese.
4. They even have a bot on their very active Discord that you can get experience points when some one uses a specific emoji for helping them. This app really works for me so far! I'm AuDHD, and have always had trouble keeping interest in learning a language outside of sit-down classes, but this app has made it so easy and kept my interest! There is a paid option, but the features outside of the pay option still allow you to learn quickly and effectively.
5. heck even push notifications are disabled by default!! this program is invaluable to me as a learning resource, but being treated like a person by an app is the cherry on top 😊👍Been using the app for 2 weeks now and it's been amazing.
6. I've only been using renshuu for a couple days now, but I already love how much there is to do in it and all the ways it motivates wanting to study, which is often difficult for me to want to do.
7. The tab to see everyone's interpretations of Japanese symbols to help remember them is very useful for learning and the several word games played with others helps build up vocab without being intensive.
8. I could say so much more but character limit. So far, I can say that renshuu is very good for beginners! My learning has progressed so much in a very short time, thanks to the straightforward, no-nonsense lessons that still keep learning light and fun.
9. All of the graphics are very cute as well, and there's multiple ways of learning new characters for those who learn in different ways! It also runs very smooth, no glitches so far.
10. I've been off and on studying Japanese for about 5 years and it's been a struggle to find resources that work for my ADHD brain.
11. The top bar often flashes though, and the interface feels a little unintuitive, but I figured it out, and my experience has been very positive!I just downloaded the app, and so far, it's been really fun! As someone with ADHD, having the little gacha machine at the end of every lesson has been motivating me a ton.
