Pray.com Customer Insights

1. I love the idea of this app, but two things are problematic for me 1)the daily pray streak which is meantbtI encourage prayer, continually resets to day 1, it happened last week and again this week, losing over 300 days.

2. Over all a great app!Writing this to help others know this app has lots of free content and the people leaving bad reviews for "being forced having to pay" are wrong and confused.

3. 2) The Bible in a year which was tracking correctly below the prayer, has also reset itself, but if I manually click on that tab, it correctly goes to where I left off.The Bible in a year podcast needs improvement.

4. After you register with email a fullscreen popup appears and I suspect many are wrongly pressing "continue" which takes you to paid, rather than the 'X' at top left corner to move on to the free stuff.

5. There's a great amount of content but would like to see more😁 God Bless you all.I love this app, it has definitely helped me get closer to God.

6. Sometimes it will jump back and you'll hear the past 30 seconds again and sometimes the podcast ends (like runs out of time) before the closing prayer ends.

7. Only down fall..wish we could post pictures (scriptures.) It gives you the option, but get an error message when the picture is trying to upload.

8. It blends om with design.I used to absolutely love this app and would have given a 5-star rating.

9. I do believe the app layout is great, just some minor tweaks need to be fixed.

10. The lessons are great as wellI am editing my original rating.

11. Heartbreaking and very disappointingTwo problems with the app that keeps it from a five ⭐ for me is, one: the app keeps asking me to subscribe even though I am subscribed, two: the app malfunctions often.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pray.com Issues

1. Fix Pray.com Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Pray.com: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Pray.com App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pray.com" » Open Pray.com: Bible & Daily Prayer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pray.com » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Pray.com: Bible & Daily Prayer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pray.com servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pray.com: Bible & Daily Prayer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Pray.com app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pray.com might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Pray.com. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pray.com then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pray.com not working


2. Fix Pray.com Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pray.com be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pray.com not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pray.com may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • this is the second time that my ability to access has been cancelled [even though i was set up on a monthly charge], with money taken off my credit card monthly.........because of my computer illiteracy, I cant just ."click here and click here" ,I have a problem figuring out how to just get "accepted" ....I think i have to drop "Pray.com" and get my spiritual "fill" elsewhere, because i cannot trust continuation of availability

  • 1. It is difficult to find a way to contact pray.com
    2. Todays message sounded like it said the word ‘abhor’ in regards to The Lord. I would like clarification of what was said please. What word it actually was. Thank you. I took screenshots of message and approximate place in monologue but I don’t see how to upload them here or anywhere else. Job 1:8 about 3/4 thru. Thank you for helping me to know what word was said.

  • I bought Pray.com at $59.99 and everything was going well , I was improving my daily walk . The app went down, when I was on day 100+ and when the app came back it reset me back to day one. Pray.com will not reset me back to day 115 for daily prayer listening to and reading the Bible in a year and we are not given a chance to correct it ourselves . I want this fixed or I want the entire $59.99 reembersed!!

  • I have complained numerous times about the same problem to no evail . I was thoroughly enjoying this app on a daily basis and then there were technical difficulties and as was at approximately day 110 of daily prayers and listen to the Bible in one year . After loosing my Pray. Com completely , it was restored . However it was restored back to day one starting all over again and I do not have the tools to go back to day 110 . Your company charged me for a service and then won't make it right . This is supposed to be a Christian site , yet I think you are taking advantage of good Christian's . I want my App reset to day 120 in 7 working days , or I will be looking into a class action law suit !!

  • First I lost almost everything in my app . That was fixed and I should be on approximately day 100 . Then after getting my app fixed , it put me back to day 1 , so I can't even use my pray.com app and it upsets me because I can't fast forward listening too the Bible in one year , I'm getting the same daily prayers from the begging again and I feel something very special has been taken from me !!

  • I paid $59.99 for a full year and my service has now been reduced . I no longer get my daily prayers , my Bible in a year and my bedtime stories . I was getting this service everyday for approximately 100 days and now I'm getting messages saying I need too pay $7.99 a month after already paying $59.99 for full service for a year . No number where you can speak to a live person , sad !!!

  • How does Pray.Com work? By this I mean if you miss a day, you reset to Day 1 but the rest of the folks in my “Pray Pod” are still Praying daily but they never register in All Time column. What gives? I know I have seen some on 1000 day consecutive Prayers and I’m proud to almost make a year but would like to know how the algorithms work for rest and the thousands of other subscribers you must have.

  • First of all I love my pray.com. We try to listen to it every night. We like it to play all night long. We have listen to it for a few nights all night long but recently we cannot get it to stay on but just a few minutes.   • This is not a complaint, just a request. I love prayer.com,and the variety of programs and listening Bible study options within the app, however, I do not prefer the KJV of the Bible because I find it difficult to understand the old English colloquialisms used in that translation. Is there a way to choose a different translation. What about the NKJV? Is that available? Please get back to me. Thank you.

  • I absolutely love my Pray app. I use it every single night now for a good 6 months, maybe Longer. I have begun to depend on it for my peaceful rest.
    Last night, the renew questions came up, I agreed to another subscription and the screen wont stay closed. I'll agree, go to my Bedtime stories, pick one, hit play, and BAMM, that renew screen comes back. I agree and well... the rest of the story is I didn't get my rest cause I didn't have Ms. Emily telling me a bible story about Ruth. Please address this today so I can have my Stories back.
    Thank you also, for providing us with this Spiritual app. It has truly brought me Joy, Comfort and Knowledge. I enjoy your speakers, except maybe Hannah in the Jesus section cause she reads too fast. She just needs to slow it down some for us older folks. I have to thinking about listening to her instead of just relaxing and listening. But I like her. I cant wait to hear what you folks do with Revelations. Might be hard to sleep with that one but I want to hear it anyway. It's one part of the whole Thing so....it must be included. I'll still be a member no matter how long it takes.

  • I want to use a different Bible translation because I do not understand the Old English used in the KJV. Can I choose another version... either the NKJV or NIV please. I really like this app, but don’t get as much out of as I could through the KJV translation provided. Thank you.
