1. Need to allow people to enter the receipt number so people can get their points.Just tried using app with latest update, and it doesn't work.

2. I gave up & ate elsewhere.Before the update, the app was very convenient for me since I can track my order and points but now, since I can't scan my own receipt, I've been losing out on points.

While the charges did reverse after a few minutes, the app should have said there was a network error, try again later rather then keep telling me to use a different card.The app used to be fine until they updated it and now I constantly have to resign into the app and if I hit the back button it kicks me completely out and makes me sign in again! And the point system isn't great either.

4. The new update doesn't allow you to scan the receipt for points anymore.

5. This new point system is bad, you can't even use your point on all the menu item.The old version of the application was easy to use and allowed me to order my food in seconds.

6. For example I have been trying to open it for 10 mins now and it just stays on a blank red page an doesn't load and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesn't work either.

7. I've been to my local restaurant twice and they can't scan my QR code so I automatically lose my points.

8. I didn't realize that till later I tried to scan my receipt and cannot find the barcode.

9. But if it could at least work, that would be great.This new update for the app suck goes for the same for the point system.

10. Don't get me started in the new point system, what a joke! It's impossible to use this application -it's the worst upgrade ever.

11. A lot of drive thru I've gone to, specially during busy hours, won't even scan my app cause they just want to keep the line going.

1. Fix El Pollo Loco Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart El Pollo Loco: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the El Pollo Loco App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "El Pollo Loco" » Open El Pollo Loco - Loco Rewards » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for El Pollo Loco » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear El Pollo Loco - Loco Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from El Pollo Loco servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "El Pollo Loco - Loco Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check El Pollo Loco app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, El Pollo Loco might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall El Pollo Loco. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall El Pollo Loco then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing El Pollo Loco not working

2. Fix El Pollo Loco Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make El Pollo Loco be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to El Pollo Loco not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, El Pollo Loco may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
