Etymology Explorer Customer Insights

1. Making it a paid app with no trial period would have been more honest.Great app! Easy to use: I can glance at the word and its brief etymological description in my notification panel, and if I want to explore that word further, I can click to go to the app for more on that word than one could ever dream of (!), I can add it to a favorite list(!),search for other words, click to see the word(s) of the day, and ohhhhh, sooooo much more! (Read the About page!!) Yes, my friend, you can nerd out on words here in a fun and easy way!!! And Premium's just $10/year!!!Excellent application.

2. The language tree charting and the ability to go in and inspect every roots is extremely useful.I'm speechless... the possibility this app gives you of searching children words in other languages is extraordinary! This helps you memorizing better both the primitive and derivative words, of different languages.

3. I would maybe suggest to add a feature to make it a bit easier to report any errors as it looks as if the only way at the moment is to email: some sort of form box for very minor issues. It pressured me into a purchase decision the second time I opened it.

4. It's a great app that not only help me to learn English , but also motivate my interest in some other languages and cultures.

5. I have about 8 seconds to get to the tree and scroll to a nice spot to see enough information, then I must close the app and reload to view a different page.

6. Just being able to bounce and bump around the different words and their associations and see the visual links is very satisfying.

7. Thanks very much.I just have a passing interest in etymology and this app is like the "thing" that I've been looking for my entire life to explore this topic the way I want to.

8. This app has very good potential, and it will have even more if this gets fixed.Phenomenal!! This app is so very well put together, I'm immediately engrossed in the information upon opening it up.

9. I deleted and reinstalled to no availA great app, really good content.

10. I had a few issues initially but a couple of days after I posted my review, an update came that fixed all issues that I had and improved much more.

11. I love how you can search in many different languages.
