1. Even if you want to keep the focus as-is, to even use the app you need to fill in contact info?! Way off the markIt has been really helpful in my search for colleges, considering I didn't know where to go before installing this app.

2. It has been very informative to learn from actual residents whether a place is racist, left leaning, right leaning, snobbish, lackluster, has no good restaurants, bad roads, bad government, has friendly people, good hospitals and schools, etc.

3. My family was using this app as a tool to help figure out where we'd like to relocate and well we can't do that now because you've shifted your focus to only college students and excluded the rest of us.

7. I feel like you could have allowed for us folks who've already attended college or not still use the app! Now it asks for all of this information from you and boots you if you don't give it and won't let you move on without providing it.

8. Maybe could have designed the app to have more of these college/student-focused features be more prominent, but to basically hide the city/town and other familiar features really pushes away what is seemingly a large user base.

9. When looking colleges by majors, it doesn't show the Classics major! Please fix this, since it is offered almost everywhere.

10. You were once able to search for K-12 schools as well as places to live.

11. What a let down.I used to live this app because it gave you neighborhood information like crime stats and schools K-College information.

1. Fix Niche Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Niche: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Niche App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Niche" » Open Niche: College Search » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Niche » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Niche: College Search app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Niche servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Niche: College Search" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Niche app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Niche might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Niche. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Niche then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Niche not working

2. Fix Niche Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Niche be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Niche not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Niche may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
