I wouldn't be trying to read the news if WGEM was available as ilanle to watch on TV but due to the ongoing feud with DISH and the fact that our local station cares nothing for its community of DISH viewers we are denied many of our favorite programs and our local news and weather.WGEM has done an outstanding job in setting up their app.

Thank you WGEM!Yes I'm in Mcdonough County and I are very much enjoyed the WGEM app on my smartphone it's my first smartphone and it's kind of difficult but the first app I had put on it was for WGEM and I can get your weather off of it and everything and a lot of times if I missed by 5 or 10 News no big problem I can get it from you guys off of your phone thank you guys so much and your app is just great to whoever put this app together did a greatGraphic display of atmospheric conditions is minimal at best.

6. Their app is available pretty much on all providers except Samsung TV which we have, so I Downloaded the app on my phone but their app does not rotate into landscape even watching video.

7. Would download again if it gets fixed.The headline news item is never available.

9. Why would they not have an app for Samsung TV's???I used to love this app but now all the notifications go straight to live stream and you can't ever get the story.

10. I liked when it gave you the option to read or watch the story on your own time.

1. Fix WGEM News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart WGEM News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the WGEM News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WGEM News" » Open WGEM News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WGEM News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear WGEM News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WGEM News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WGEM News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check WGEM News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WGEM News might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall WGEM News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WGEM News then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WGEM News not working

2. Fix WGEM News Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WGEM News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WGEM News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WGEM News may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
