1. The record function works great too.Camera quality is great at all lighting levels and the cameras/app come with nice features.

2. Even if you keep your hotspot on (never disconnect) mode, the camera will still disconnect in every 6/7 hours.

3. Their security camera keeps disconnecting every few hours from the hotspot.

4. You literally have to keep reconnecting / or turning the hotspot on and off every few hours for the camera to re-connect.

5. Will not work over LAN.The camera is excellent , clear and it picks up every motion that it's supposed to.

6. You can't pan the camera because it freezes and retains your input as if you're holding the pan button so it spins until it can't spin anymore.

1. Fix Imou Life Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Imou Life: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Imou Life App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Imou Life" » Open Imou Life » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Imou Life » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Imou Life app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Imou Life servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Imou Life" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Imou Life app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Imou Life might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Imou Life. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Imou Life then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Imou Life not working

2. Fix Imou Life Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Imou Life be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Imou Life not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Imou Life may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
