1. Never experienced this in any news reader app, even the default Microsoft News app does a better job.Simply amazing! Built-in ad block, dark mode, reading mode, customizable news categories and article history!? This app has been thought out quite well and I hope it continues to build on top of what's already great about it.Trash. Does not pick up on personalization, does not allow blocking of keywords to avoid useless news, does not even provide local news even when you approve location settings.

10. The algorithim (idk how you spell it) really picked up on my finnicky interests fast, and without even reloading my feed began populating on-target stories for me, which makes it hard to put down in a great way.

1. Fix Hummingbird Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hummingbird: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hummingbird App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hummingbird" » Open Hummingbird - stories for you » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hummingbird » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hummingbird - stories for you app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hummingbird servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hummingbird - stories for you" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hummingbird app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hummingbird might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hummingbird. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hummingbird then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hummingbird not working

2. Fix Hummingbird Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hummingbird be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hummingbird not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hummingbird may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
