1. Biggest drawback is looking through picture files is overwhelming, because 1) the icons from apps are included, and 2) the pictures are shown very close up without a lot of space in between each one, which makes them hard to process. This app always needed a "for all file conflicts" option, when choosing to overwrite or skip.
2. However once the shares were accessible the transfer of files was clean and efficient, without dropouts that I had experienced with other apps.
3. Otherwise, seems fine and does the same things aside from the lack of cloud integration.I remember this app used to easily let you see and manage the files under different categories.
4. Other than that, works great for when I need to move files around in my NAS and don't feel like firing up my laptop.
5. After this latest update I cannot do this and thus the app is not useful to me anymore.Connecting to home shares required me to use the IP address since I'm on DHCP it makes it a bit more clumsy, the app did not recognize the share name.
6. Still works on other devices, but even then, not as well as it used to.Awesome app! Left ES File Manager after their plug-ins started getting intrusive.
7. My main reason for using the app was it ability to view files in a zipped folder and select and unzip the selected files.
8. Small issue you may encounter: if you attempt to make an SMB connection, and you don't have the share name correct, there does not seem a way to remove the connection.
9. I will not be bullied into allowing someone to continuously monitor my usage of other apps, the webpages I visit, etc.
10. For over seven years, Astro used to be an app that I always could rely on... Ever since my phone upgraded to running on Android 13, it's like the app has lost its will to live -- crashing every time I try to use it.
11. Absolutely ridiculous.Visually pleasing on layout, straightforward functionality for finding and removing unwanted files.
