Why should I report an Issue with Lowrance: app for anglers?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Would love to give it stars but that would require being able to actually use the app.Worst app i ever used!! INCLUDE MEASURING 2 POINT DISTANCE RULER! When im choosing wave height, gusts, wind, etc..it changes grounds background color without showing any data,??? Why doesn't it shows wave height? Water temps? And all other data? It shows arrows for wind but doesnt say how fast wind will be wow, im using subscribed version.

When you get it working I want this down time and future added to my yearly subscription that was paid for.I have bought a hook reveal and a hook2 neither will have any maps on them and are unable to load them what is the point of a GPS without a map its complete junk do not waste your money on this brand !!! Even finding info on these products are very difficult stay away!!!!!!!Unusable.

3. What good is an app that doesn't work when you need it? NO GOOD!!!DO NOT BUY!!!! As soon as the free trial was up the app quit working and the server said it would be down for til June 25 (nearly 10 days) all started during planned vacation from work and the app is down the whole time.

4. Apparently the Lowrance server is down because I have cell service but have been getting a server error since 10 am today and the app is unable to verify my PAID account.

5. Not to mention, all I'm trying to do is register my friggn fishfinder! Feel like everything about this app is just geared towards getting you to buy another product.Charts and shading are nice...but it doesn't work as advertised.

6. Why distance is shown in feet not miles?This is an OK lake map app for people like me who don't have a fish finder unit with lake maps (I do have a Lowrance on my other boat).

7. For example, i try to click on a button that says "Taylor your chart" but it plots another way point underneath it, on whatever section of map that button happens to be over at the time.

8. Despite having paid for the premium version of the app, I am unable to create a proper water route.

9. What genius at lowerance figured farthers day would be a good time to shut the server down because of low traffic.

10. This app is useless, go use garmins free version, its better than lowrance paid one.

1. Fix Lowrance Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Lowrance: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Lowrance App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lowrance" » Open Lowrance: app for anglers » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lowrance » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Lowrance: app for anglers app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lowrance servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lowrance: app for anglers" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Lowrance app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lowrance might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Lowrance. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lowrance then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lowrance not working

2. Fix Lowrance Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lowrance be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lowrance not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lowrance may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
