1. One of my favorite options is you can open a folder on internal storage and split screen with external memory card location and simply choose the files you want to move, check your folder on memory card you want them to go to and simply click on move and bang it's done.
2. It's also very easy to search for files etc. This app has been HANDS DOWN THE BEST file manager on Google Play, and I've tried many, many file managers.
3. In a word... Exceptional.I love Xplore App! Xplore shows you all of the files and the file structure of your phone.
4. Once you see how this app works, I bet you will love it too!!...Awesome app been using it for years as my main file manager.
5. Would rate 5 stars but will subtract one for this problem.Took a minute to understand how to move files.
6. Regarding the last UPDATE: HOW do I switch the button bar (between vertical panels) from two columns back to one.Update May 29, 2023: looks like the issue is now fixed! Thanks!! LAN connections with SMB2 are not working.
7. Had to select the file(s) or folder from where they can be moved then swipe right to select the folder where the files are to be moved into.
8. So it is worthless for actually browsing files.Obnoxious adware bundling, constant nagging to rate.
9. But just to browse your files, this app needs to index your entire storage, which takes it hours.
10. It frequently loses the connection and transfers hang even on files a couple megabytes.
11. It enables me to put a link on my homepage to reach specific folders or files.
Hello,
I have a 2022 Amazon firestick 4K Max. I installed the x-plore file manager app from the amazon app store because I want to move apps from the fire stick 4K max to my SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 256GB external storage USB. The USB is showing up on my firestick and tell me that I have 256GB of external storage. I formatted it to become "device storage" and I "allow" X-plore app to download/write from outside sources. When I open the X-plore app, the left and the right side look the same saying "internal shared storage" on top and then "root" beneath that and I cannot see my external storage, the SanDisk 256GB USB. I've looked on other people's YouTube and that manage to get their external USB to show up and I've been searching for solutions to this problem for a while but I'm not getting any results. What else do I need to do, or what am I doing wrong. Help please, because it's annoying getting that "low storage" message from the firestick when I have potentially 256GB of extra storage I can use. If you are sending solutions/suggestions for me to do/try, please tell me step by step. I have a learning disability that came on after I was deployed to Iraq, but I'm good at following step by step directions. Thanks.
