1. If so, they should send an email to all users and remove it from the app store! The app is not working, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, still not working.Edit-deleted and reinstall- allows me to log in BUT cannot complete Sams Club voucher sign up w multiple attempts, doesn't allow to correct info input into fields, radio buttons are laggy/ or completely non operational.

2. However, shipping notification listed both items under same FedEx tracking number which would imply they shipped in same box - they Sameer money on shipping but keep my money, I'm not happy.

3. Just send a mass email to customers letting us know when it's fixed.Lots of good deals on local services but don't buy anything that needs to be shipped unless you want to wait forever.

4. APPARENTLY, APP HAS NOT BEEN FUNCTIONING FOR ANDROID IN QUITE SOME TIME.Keeps saying that I have to get the latest version and then takes me to the "rate this app" page.

5. Can't get into my purchases so i can use any of my vouchers! What a waste of money!Incompetence reigns - remember the old saying "You get what you pay for"? This is a good example of that.

6. After 3 attempts on both play and aptidode it still gives a message to upgrade and does not allow for any clicks or progression on the site.

7. Then go online and do more research to double check.App is not functioning! I get a screen stating I must upgrade to the newest version.

8. It's been several business days since contacting the email addresses given.

9. The app keeps saying I need to upgrade to continue using but there are no upgrades available.

10. So in past few days the app issues have cost me time and money.

11. I click OK and it goes to Google Play store, but doesn't show any upgrades.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LivingSocial Issues

1. Fix LivingSocial Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LivingSocial: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LivingSocial App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LivingSocial" » Open LivingSocial - Great Value » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LivingSocial » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LivingSocial - Great Value app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LivingSocial servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LivingSocial - Great Value" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LivingSocial app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LivingSocial might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LivingSocial. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LivingSocial then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LivingSocial not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LivingSocial be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LivingSocial not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LivingSocial may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
