1. Over all its a cool way to watch a drive in movie cause I could wear headphones instead of it just coming out of my radio.Was at movie theater feature and the sound was delayed more than a second... Although it worked it ended up not being usable, really missed not having any kind of lip sync feature...Not great at all.

2. Once I got it working the app sound kept going in and out, was delayed when working, and full of static white noise.Wow!! Worked flawlessly right out of the box, Literally! I had done some easy configuration of the theaters guest network ahead of time, plugged in the audio, network, & power, streaming to devices started without any extra effort.

3. ..NOTE: A venues poor deployment of their network assets, is NO fault of the APP,or Listen Tech.It seems most of the bad reviews are because the system had been setup using poor WiFi.

4. So I just had to stick the the car radio.Great for iPhone; impossible for Android Just installed the LE system and while it works like a breeze on an iPhone I cannot connect my Android phone with ANY consistency, or not at all.

5. We are using the system in our church sanctuary with excellent WiFi and the system has worked perfectly and has been a huge blessing to those who need it.

6. My local drive in theater uses this as an option for the movie audio.

7. The audio was delayed about 2 seconds and had a ton of interference when it worked, and just had white noise/silence periodically when it disconnected.

8. I was very disappointed as I went to the drive in and wanted to stay for the second movie as my son slept.

9. I can connect my phone, but as soon as I connect my external Bluetooth speaker the app stops working.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ListenWIFI Issues

1. Fix ListenWIFI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ListenWIFI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ListenWIFI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ListenWIFI" » Open ListenWIFI » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ListenWIFI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ListenWIFI app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ListenWIFI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ListenWIFI" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ListenWIFI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ListenWIFI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ListenWIFI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ListenWIFI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ListenWIFI not working


2. Fix ListenWIFI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ListenWIFI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ListenWIFI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ListenWIFI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
