1. I went with Greenpal it was cheaper and they are way more professional and reliable! Good riddance!!Lawn service has been fine but app needs updating.

2. You try to get them to come out and you're contacted by 3+ separate form letter customer "service" reps with promises that they'll take care of the no-show (which you still pay for) but then no follow-up.The service Lawn starter offers is great.

3. If issues resolve, I will update here.The app doesn't seem to have a good way for crews to reschedule due to rain, which is a pretty critical feature, and meant the service was extremely irregular.

4. Easy to schedule service, guys show up when they say, they communicate through the app...so much more convenient than trying to chase someone down by phone.

5. If the app worked better I would recommend the service to others but I can't right now.First time I used the service I got hit with the "long grass fee" which doubled the cost.

6. EDIT: customer service was very helpful, they responded quickly and removed the extra charge.FRAUD ALERT!!!! They can not only reschedule but they can bill you for both.

7. They have tried to take advantage of my mother, a retired first grade teacher and double charged a credit card ( which adds interest ) and when alerted to the error, they responded with requiring a screenshot of my credit card statement.

8. Quality of service may vary by area, but my experince has been awesome!Absolutely awful.

9. Getting to messages from your service provider is a nightmare and they can send you a message via SMS but all it does is link back to the app.

10. Still never reversed the charges.When I first saw an ad for this service I thought I can't beat the price.

11. And then to top it all off, while using this service we had two different crews damage plants and flowers on our property.

1. Fix LawnStarter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart LawnStarter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the LawnStarter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LawnStarter" » Open LawnStarter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LawnStarter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear LawnStarter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LawnStarter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LawnStarter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check LawnStarter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LawnStarter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall LawnStarter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LawnStarter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LawnStarter not working

2. Fix LawnStarter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LawnStarter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LawnStarter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LawnStarter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
