What users are saying

1. It's relatively reliable, works in a range of untethered environments and provides CPR artefact (which is a cut above other sim devices, even complex ones like iSimulate) So super useful, but could we have an option for controlling heart rate? As in, a slider? Only having three fixed rates (tachy, sinus and brady) really limits the application of the device.

2. Now it won't connectStill can't see the connect buttonLaerdal really needs to address the 5 minute lockout! It's infuriating mid teaching session when it turns itself off!!not many rhythms.

3. It's great otherwise, but I'd expect that capability from a device costing as much as it does!Updated firm ware.

4. I've been using Shocklink for years.

5. I have trouble connecting and can't tell why.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ShockLink Issues

1. Fix ShockLink Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart ShockLink: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ShockLink App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ShockLink" » Open ShockLink » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ShockLink » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ShockLink app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ShockLink servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ShockLink" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ShockLink app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ShockLink might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ShockLink. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ShockLink then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ShockLink not working

2. Fix ShockLink Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ShockLink be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ShockLink not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ShockLink may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
