1. PLEASE DISREGARD comments complaining about a lack of a menu button. Version 4. 2. 1 has fixed this problem. plus mechanical (pocket) watch regulation (timing machine) ala beat-counting. - 10s max recording (but unlimited real-time analysis). - Limited sampling-rate, transform-size, octave-band options. - Multiple FFT transform-sizes and windowing functions. - Multiple spectrogram views (amplitude, power, dB) and color palettes. - Inverted UI orients primary mic forward for improved audio response.
2. PLEASE READ THE INCLUDED DOCUMENTATION OR EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS.
3. The version history has a complete list of recent changes.
1. How can I fix this error Keith?Impressive,as a test i used a Waltham 1857 i am working on with a weak hairspring.I knew from timing against a digital stopwatch it was dropping about 11 minutes a day, sure enough the app shows a loss of 11 mins 24 secs a day which is likely very accurate.Similarly i tested against an Elgin GM Wheeler i have just serviced and knew was very accurate and it shows +3 seconds a day.I will use this tool a lot,it works very well. Thanks for making it available!Tutorial reads like Taiwanese stereo instructions - an unorganized collection of notes, sparse and terse.
2. I've not tried (and do not understand) anything else, but for accurate setting of a mechanical watch it is spot on.I'm always getting "The audio hardware doesn't support current audio sampling rate and sampling size!" error.
3. Useless.many time I try to setup adjust but never works properly or to difficult to use so I do not recommend u just wasting your time....Not compatible with Android 9will not work on my androidThanks to the author I can fix the accuracy of my Hamilton mechanical watch , which is now at 15sec+, and it corresponds to my own measurements.
4. But in the preferences menu it says your hardware supports current sampling rate.
5. As others have noted, using this to regulate a watch requires a VERY quiet room.
6. It did take me a day to figure out how to make it read the watch's tiny audio signals, but finally did it, thank you for the app.
7. I'm impressed by the amount of work that obviously went into programming this, and grateful that the author chose to share.
8. This guy has no Earthly idea how to write directions, thereby rendering a complex piece of software unusable and frustrating.
9. Unless you understand all the complex functions this app provides, you should read the tutorial so you can set it up for that exact purpose.
10. The author notes that the watch-regulating feature was an add-on- well, for an add-on it's pretty slick.
11. Gave up & uninstalled it.This app does only 10 seconds of spectogram and nothing else, not menu not buttons, nothing.
