It seems to do it a bit but very clunky.Works as designed and very good In android, swipe down and select auto rotate otherwise you'll have a mere tiny screen, remember to turn your phone side says, place it where it stays that way and works well, you can control everything from the screen on the radio to whats on your phone, time time to explore all the features, easier than you think....Could be a better full screen mode size but does what it says on the box.

2. Jvc/Kenwood if you read this please fix this for everyone.What essential oils would I need to actually have this work? Sure, the opening screen where it describes "why doesn't this app work" (where it gives highlights for Android *samsung* users to maybe make it work) is nice looking - but it would be better looking if the system was compatible with literally any other phone.

3. I sent and email listening my many issues and frustration with a 400$ unit having absolutely no features and customization yet they have all the crossover and filter settings you need yet my screen mirror is half the screen and only option is demo on or off.

4. The app will not function if the unit believes the emergency brake is not on.This is how you get it to work! App kept saying connecting in my notifications bar, and radio would say no parking.

5. Otherwise, it works 100%, and I can see texts, YouTube, and most important - NAV! I won't get in to how to override the parking brake switch, but it's as easy as a simple google search.

6. My husband phone has not updated and is still running on the 10 software and he can mirror with the apl in my car on this system, but I cannot due to my android updating to 11.

7. Anyone claiming it doesn't work should try a FACTORY usb cable.

1. Fix Mirroring OB Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Mirroring OB: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Mirroring OB App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mirroring OB" » Open Mirroring OB for JVC » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mirroring OB » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Mirroring OB for JVC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mirroring OB servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mirroring OB for JVC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Mirroring OB app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mirroring OB might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Mirroring OB. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mirroring OB then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mirroring OB not working

2. Fix Mirroring OB Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mirroring OB be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mirroring OB not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mirroring OB may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
