1. This app is perfect for that.bird database is woefully incomplete only 8 warblers 1 shorebird etc.etc. would not have downloaded it had I been aware of that.great reference for bird watchers! It has helped us put a song to many of our birds in our yard!!!I can't get what I wanted from this app.
2. I hope I could push a button when the bird was singing and the app would identify the bird.very helpful in identifying the various birds in our area, many of whom visit our bird feeder.
3. after recording sounds it brings up list of birds, when you hit the play button to hear the sound to match with what you hear it leaves the screen and does not play Birdsong.
4. when you can play the sound it's usually not the bird you hear.We live in a "near" forest, on a small isolated area between a cove and a creek peninsula.
5. Too many active birds, but Bird Song does a good job in helping to identify.
6. Five stars in my book!We sit outside a lot and identifying bird songs and match them to the birds that come to our feeder is helpful.
7. Only issue so far was rose breasted grosbeak does not seem to be listed. My bird song recognition needs refreshed every now and again.
8. Most trees are extremely tall laplala pine, so an area with shorter trees would make it easier to hone in on a particular bird.
9. The desired species is almost always in the top four results, so it is easy to scroll through the recorded calls to find the right one.full of glitches and frustrating to use.
10. Recording even a call from some distance i.e. a block away has given me results.
11. The best ID by song.
