1. The mapping is a neat feature too.I've decided to wait to apply for a vanity call sign until I get my Extra (studying for it right now) and looking them up is (if a bit silly) additional motivation! The app is perfect for a quick lookup, but if you're not just browsing for fun, it's better to double check on the FCC website, then triple check again after a week or so to be sure info is up to date. This was a vary good app untill june 2021 the google map does not show the map any more .
2. Last time the app was used by me and it was working was 12/21.Useless for looking up stations if you are into DX, it appears it can only find usa stations, which is does mention in the intro but who reads the intro? Plenty of other free apps that do a much better all round job.
3. I received a message that this app may not be compatible with my device since I updated my OS to 9.0 Pie on my Motorola G6 (Verizon).Roy, it was working great, but as of 3/22 I get nothing but server errors.
4. Would love to see a voice entry lookup feature so you could just say the callsign.Built for older version of Android, doesn't work with my Galaxy S9.
5. It was still showing my old callsign as valid after the database was updated as well.
6. However it does take some time for the database to be updated.
7. When I got my vanity callsign (FCC released/issued) it took between one to two weeks for it to be in this database.
8. De K0LINI love this app it's great for showing you the direction and the distance between hams.
9. After contacting author, was given explanation that database service only includes USA callsigns.
10. Previously gave 2 stars for database update issue.
11. Nice interface but no good for me in the present state.
