Disappointing.It's useless I live in australia..did put in coordinates but the birds it identifies are never correct.. there are no birds from my local area in the index.. waste of money :(New user, love the recordings and pictures with information, haven't really tried out the ident feature yetuseless - couldn't even identify a house sparrow 6 feet in front of me.

People must remember that most birds individually have varied calls and songs and that when learning the calls of a bird that you should listen for the properties of the song or call and that remember all varied! OVERALL this app has opened up a new world of birding to me and is essential to learn!!Not once has this app ever worked correctly.
3. It is not user-friendly but I do like being able to identify birds.I didn't like default access to phone contacts, (for a birdsong app!) unnecessary invasion of privacy possibly for seperate financial gain.
4. It always gives the same 20 birds in its suggestions, at the top is always mourning doves that arent around and 15 other birds that dont even live in my region.
5. Using the recording feature to identify a bird, its primary function as an app, it never gives anything close to the song or bird I am hearing.
6. Worthless app.Its pretty good at identifying Birds if you have enough warbling or chirping sounds in your 30 seconds.
7. This app is not perfect but it is good, it is useful to play to see if a type of bird is present and to help make a bird appear.
8. This is not a comprehensive list of birds, the Dartford Warbler for example is missing, but it is proving to be fun.

10. It gave me some other bird and didn't even recognize the Carolina Wren.
