1. I've been using this app for a few years but I'm starting to think I may need to look for a new one as this one is barely suits my needs anymore.This app would be perfect for me if 98 percent of the actual experience wasn't unlockable with "premium." And it most of the time shoves self advertisements in your face, which is scummy enough.

2. I've essentially spent money on something that hasn't been working properly about 90% of the time I've had it.So you can't even do the 3 day trial without a payment method, fine, I bet their banking on people forgetting to cancel.

3. Nice!I lovedd this app, when it worked well for only a few weeks of the many months I've had it! With the constant delays & malfunctions, I basically never use it any more as it's rather maddening to constantly have a 5 second delay every single time I press anything either to open the app or within the app.

4. I feel like even on the free version, I still have a full app experience.I really do love this app, but they seem to be slowly putting everything behind a pay wall.

5. I use the widget and I love how the sayings are constantly changing without me realizing, yet I haven't really seen any repeated phrases.

6. I'd love to come back and change this review, but only once the bugs are fixed so the app can be used.Inspiring, motivational, love the sayings, was a therapist, and I recommend.

7. The premise and look were great, but it's essentially a paid app with very few "free" features after the 3 day trial.

8. Not to mention that when I watch an ad to get a certain premium feature, it doesn't even work most of the time.

9. Also, at the bottom of the screen where it tells you the price it's all overlapping so you can't even read it.Not bad, it's pretty accurate as far as matching your mentality and has a peaceful and clear way of wording.

10. The widget hasn't worked for me in months, which was one of my favorite features.

11. For the price of 4.99/year, you can create your own backgrounds to sayings that match your mood... you can share or save them.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix I am Issues

1. Fix I am Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart I am: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the I am App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "I am" » Open I am - Daily affirmations » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for I am » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear I am - Daily affirmations app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from I am servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "I am - Daily affirmations" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check I am app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, I am might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall I am. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall I am then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing I am not working


2. Fix I am Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make I am be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to I am not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, I am may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi, I have downloaded the app for a trial and then just before going premium I have unsubscribed from it. But the app is still trying to take money from my bank evens though I am not subscribed anymore. Could you please explain me why? As I am not interested

  • Hello I have cancelled my subscription with the app before the cancellation period however my card has still been charged and I cannot afford to pay for this, is there any way to bounce the payment please as this has just come out this morning. Many thanks

  • I gave my card information to this app to get a 3 day free trial and I was just charged $21 and some change and I need that money back asap

  • Hello. I’ve been using your app for awhile now and I love it, it’s been very uplifting for me. However I recently had a baby and my financial situation has changed drastically. I attempted to cancel / unsubscribe from the app, but for some reason it auto renewed my 19.99 charge (which is weird because I know it hasn’t been a year since I’ve had the app). I was wondering if there was any way that I could receive a refund for this charge? I don’t even have the app anymore & haven’t used it since canceling. Thank you so much in advance
