XTOMP Customer Insights

1. Click " my xtomp"...if your current patch comes up your connected ( like I was) go to library pick the patch to upload...click upload and when it goes back to the screen with your current pedal that is loaded click on the picture of that pedal and that starts the upload.

2. So they need to make it on the computer so you can only enter four digits for the password.App was updated and now it lost all my account info, won't connect to the internet, and new version does not have latest pedal/amp models.

3. I found on android if you load to xtomp, once your present pedal and effects appear on the app.

4. Model displays template graphic for the pedal model and is unable to load to device.

5. The load button blocks the description text on a lot of models.The range of pedals available makes this such a product.

6. then click on the current xtomp and it will load the new stomp instantly.

7. Hope this helps android user out.I was on an older version with no issues, until i updated the app yesterday to see if there were new features.

8. Only thing which is super annoying is a weird auto scroll bug which makes it impossible to scroll for 10 secs or more when viewing a model.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix XTOMP Issues

1. Fix XTOMP Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart XTOMP: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the XTOMP App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "XTOMP" » Open XTOMP » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for XTOMP » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear XTOMP app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from XTOMP servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "XTOMP" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check XTOMP app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, XTOMP might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall XTOMP. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall XTOMP then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing XTOMP not working


2. Fix XTOMP Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make XTOMP be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to XTOMP not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, XTOMP may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
