1. Secondly, I struggle to see what the point of this app even is? The connection only works via Bluetooth, meaning that you can't, say, switch the washing machine on when you're at work of you'd forgotten to put it on, you have to be within 10 meters of the device, so who is this for?It's not working unless you allow it to track your precise location all the time.

2. I think this problem needs urgent addressing, since some washing options are exlusively found on the app, like using extra water or setting the end time.App doesn't work as it's impossible to connect my machine to the app.

Judging by the amount of similar one star reviews this must be an ongoing issue that has not been addressed by the owner of the app.I've contacted the customer service because I had a problem connecting with MY own washing machine, and they put none effort to help, the problem is still in existence and I cannot use all the features which I've payed money for.

5. Sore knees and back from constantly bending over to scan/enter the product code.There is a trick to getting the washing machine to connect to the app, which I haven't figured out yet.

6. Never pairs to the washing machine and on the rare occasion that you do get it to pair, you can use it that one time and it won't ever reconnect.

7. Would be nice if there was a way to allow Remote Start capability all the time.This app just doesn't work for me.

8. For a start, it decided to forget my appliances existed, and simply won't connect to them even when my phone is literally touching the device in question.

10. Selecting to share location only when app is in use doesn't allow you to set up your device.Absolutely terrible app.

11. The only drawback is that you can't really do anything with the dishwasher unless you first press the Remote Start button, and once the dishwasher door is opened that resets the functionality and you have to press the button again to re-enable it.

1. Fix HomeWhiz Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HomeWhiz: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HomeWhiz App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HomeWhiz" » Open HomeWhiz » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HomeWhiz » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HomeWhiz app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HomeWhiz servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HomeWhiz" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HomeWhiz app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HomeWhiz might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HomeWhiz. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HomeWhiz then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HomeWhiz not working

2. Fix HomeWhiz Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HomeWhiz be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HomeWhiz not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HomeWhiz may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
