1. No updates - Discontiued! Avoid ------ just Get Bluesound Node or WIIMAfter a purchase of an Arcam streamer I tried this app as it's the suggested use for Tidal ( Spotify not supported) It absolutely horrendous, takes ages to find the Arcam before connecting then often freezes, closes down and having to relaunch or loses contact so the music stops.
2. Definitely listening more. The app (whether running on my phone or tablet) takes forever to find the Arcam CDS50 so that I can stream (if it ever does find it, some days it simply won't).
3. I hope they are fixed because the Arcam sounds much better than the Chromecast Audio when streaming.MusicLife on Android is frustratingly flaky, tends to crash and is largely unusable.
4. I have the Arcam ST60 and the latest beta update fixes none of the major issues which have been plaguing its use since I bought it last year, something I now regret.
5. I am desperate for Arcam and partners to fix these issues. After this update the app is far better than it has been, simple user interface, and works well with my Synology NAS.
6. Not compatible with Spotify, so I changed platforms (to Deezer) just so the purchase of an Arcam streamer wasn't complete waste.
7. Needs a lot of work to do justice to Arcam's reputation in the HIFI world.I purchased an Arcam st60 with great expectations.
8. It is at a point where I do not control my Arcam's main volume from my phone anymore.
9. While streaming (from Deezer at least) the app offers fairly poor navigation capability, but more importantly it crashes extremely often, skips songs wrongly flagging them as unsupported files, and can struggle to locate the hardware.
10. Never again, Arcam, never again!Shame, it looks great, but only plays one song then a 4 min pause, before starting the next track??? sometimes its even worse.
11. I borrowed an iPhone and installed the app, and I can report that although it's not quite perfect it does work way better than the Android version and is fairly stable.
