1. For the software developers in the audience, these are CSRMesh based, and the avion Python library on GitHub can dim these (but doesn't implement the color temperature command).lights are nice and easy to install.
2. A couple times I managed to get to a screen that says "Connecting" but the app does not find the devices, even though the are visible in the Bluetooth connections menu on my Pixel 2.I've had the Halo Bluetooth 2030 lumen motion detection flood light since early April, 2019.
3. I keep getting a message saying "We cant find your network right now" and none of the troubleshoot options that pop up makes a difference... I cant even access any of the othe features of the app... To say in disappointed is an understatement...This was a piece of cake to install.
4. However, once the account creation issues were resolved (after a few hours), the app was able to detect and control my lights without a problem.
5. Why spend all the money, when the very reason you're spending it flat out doesn't work!Just getting started on a lighting upgrade, and these lights are pretty great so far.
6. The app is easy to navigate and provides full control over dimming and color tuning, as well as adding an auto on/off timer which helps tremendously when trying to get the kids to bed.
7. if it resolves itself soon i will update this review, but as of now no luck...What is wrong with this app!!! I was so excited about these lights and the fact that I can control them through bluetooth, but it's simply not working.
8. Thinking I did something was wrong with the lights, I contacted Halo support who advised me to use the provided In-Wall Accessory Dimmer which immediately resolved the flicker.
9. No complaints here.Love the lights and all the options to change and control setting, when you can connect.
10. I've tried everything - powercycling the lights, the phone, moving closer to the light (less than 15 ft), closer to the router - nothing works.
11. The app pairs with the lights pretty reliably, but you need one light per concurrent connection unless you get the hub.
