BitVision Customer Insights

1. The app does not work,you can not view the cctv through this app.one day it's working next day its not.This app is not reliable.This needs to be replaced with an alternative app or go back to the original app.Those who have no tv screen & only rely through phones using this app what are they meant to do.The app was part of the cctc package,so either replace the app or refund ppl for taking payment for something isn't working & is unreliable.What's gone so wrong with your last app update 9 days ago.

I cannot open the app because it says that there are bugs and I need to update the app once you have fixed the bug issue.Having problems with the app crashing , shutting down Also can't access my recordings And getting errors codes of 415 and 425 .. I never changed my setting.. Also a new error code showed up 601AVOID AT ALL COST 22/3/23 Reply back to herospeed tec.

3. I never had this issue before.Works quite well with my domar zxtech 24/7 cctv system, main new issue is that the view video option forces me to watch 2min 10 seconds each clip no fast forward option & action start at nearly 2min mark, wasting my mobile data.Please fix the bug issues.

4. I use BitVision for my camaras security system, it is a good app, but for the last 3 or 4 days has been crashing, I get a message saying that the app as a bug, to wait for the app developer to create a fix up file.

5. Do you have an update or a fix up to keep the application from continuing crashing?Since the last update my cameras keep on disappearing with error 415.

6. I can view cameras in real time, but that's pretty much it.Only thing that is not working is fast forwarding for example 4x, 8x, 16x etc... I can do it on my dvr direct but not on my phone.

7. Now I cannot use the playback option as the cameras will not reconnect an get error 425.

8. With this fixed it will be 5 stars!Used to be a good app until the latest update.

9. This was installed by our security company as part of our camera system.

10. Good app for viewing my cameras.

11. There is a cloud service that i mistakenly signed up for and i see no way to leave the service.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BitVision Issues

1. Fix BitVision Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BitVision: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BitVision App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BitVision" » Open BitVision » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BitVision » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BitVision app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BitVision servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BitVision" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BitVision app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BitVision might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BitVision. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BitVision then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BitVision not working


2. Fix BitVision Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BitVision be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BitVision not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BitVision may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I can't sign in to my tablet, I'm signed in to my phone danieljohnhackett@redacted but can't get password to work and am now not sure of it I tried so many, I tried to change password from phone but also kooking for present password first, can you help me reset password
