What users are saying

1. The alarm volume seems to have been integrated more into the whole-phone sound settings, which is a really silly design decision.

2. However, after a recent update, an annoying, obnoxious "buzzing"sound was added to the normally pleasant alarm sound.

3. I hate having to repick my alarm songs over and over, so I'm stuck using the default alarms.

4. Multiple timers on one page is too much--one can get too easily reset or deleted by accident because they're so close together, the Alarm stop button is so big it's too easy to press that instead of the snooze, and the timers reset button is much way too big.

5. It used to be set by alarm so each alarm had its own volume setting, now it's set globally such that all alarms are turned up or down uniformly.

6. How does Google get away with leaving out such a basic thing? MINIMUM function as a daily alarm clock should be that it is always full screen when it goes off.

7. Everything is less convenient and uncomfortably more compact. They removed a very basic feature of controlling alarm volume.

8. By the way, my alarm every once in awhile we'll just not go off, going off at zero volume or too quiet to wake me up.

9. The songs I picked for my alarm sound would stop playing after several days.

10. Please fix this bug or I'll go download an alarm app that actually works.I've used this (alarm)-clock for years and have been very happy with it.

11. First, if you use battery saver mode, EVERY time it rings, you get a massive window about how it may or may have degraded your alarm experience.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Clock Issues

1. Fix Clock Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Clock: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Clock not working

2. Fix Clock Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Clock be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Clock not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Clock may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
