1. I initiated a live chat session, and the program crashed.UPDATE: Installed on a new phone, and got it to work for a few hours, but when I re-opened the app later, suddenly my "TV SERVICE PROVIDER" was no longer signed in.

2. Are you kidding me?! On top of that the app itself was constantly crashing and saying the servers were down, yet on PS Vue it worked fine (I also decided to watch the show during the free trial on there instead).

3. I logged in through the cable provider but the only way I could watch anything is if it was live (which didn't even load) or I had to buy FX+.

4. Even when I finally make it to the home screen of my phone and clear all the recent screen the error message pops back up.

9. Why do I need to interact with a ad?? just show the dang ad and move on, this is most annoying when trying to play a season with it stopping after every episode so that I interact with a ad.

10. Now I can watch my Simpsons.Really like FX and some of its shows, this app has had a lot of change since its first release.

11. I force closed, cleared the cache and the data, and I restarted my phone but nothing worked.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FXNOW Issues

1. Fix FXNOW Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FXNOW: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FXNOW App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FXNOW" » Open FXNOW » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FXNOW » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FXNOW app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FXNOW servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FXNOW" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FXNOW app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FXNOW might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FXNOW. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FXNOW then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FXNOW not working


2. Fix FXNOW Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FXNOW be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FXNOW not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FXNOW may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
