1. foobar2000 mobile is an advanced audio player for mobile devices. * Supported audio formats: MP3, MP4, AAC, Vorbis, Opus, FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, Musepack. * Full ReplayGain support (playback and scanning). * Supports playback and downloading music from various network servers (UPnP, FTP, WebDAV).
1. This app has issues in terms of some features (like being able to set album art) being missing, but I'm giving it 5 stars for the gapless playback alone to make it easier for anyone who was desperately searching like I was.I absolutely love foobar2000, it has a stripped down interface that is extremely quick, and has all sorts of advanced tools and metadata options that music fanatics like me love! To be honest, the only thing that would make this app completely perfect is if it had an option to add song(s)/album(s) to what is currently playing instead of just saved playlists.
2. if you come from the pc music player, it doesnt have all the features(at least from what I'm aware of) like audio conversion, song splitting and attaching song info(like titles naming).Perfect, just like the version on windows, but with what I'd add to be a better interface.
3. There are some crashes that can occur while changing settings, and I don't recommend turning on openSL decoding cause it causes some issues, but it's perfect. The only free Android music app I found that has actual, TRUE gapless playback with no hiccups.
4. On the Android it needs choices for font size, so it displays the entire track name (which is usually very long in classical music and only the last part counts because the first part is identical among many tracks).
5. There also needs to be a choice to go up to the current album from the currently playing track -currently this option is missing, so I often have to look for the album for too longAfter 18 years happily using Windows fb2k, I'm trying the Android version.
6. Two stars, sadly- one for no ads, and one for a good concept.this is a pretty good free to use player that can use flac files and other odd types of music files in general.
7. Please fix this performance issue!! Possibly related to calculating duration for each list? If so make that a toggle. My favourite music player on computers and phones! No ads! No nonsense! On the computer it's perfect.
8. However, if I turn off notifications, it disables a useful function of being able to control play pause , next or previous track in the lock screen.
9. This has an unusual design compared to other Android music players.
10. There is a problem I am having with getting constant notifications, saying the last song that was played when I stopped.
11. It even has support for custom gain control, so it can make your headphones or speakers even louder! (Just remember that pushing it can hurt your hardware and cause audio distortion).
