Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Thunder VPN Issues
1. Fix Thunder VPN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Thunder VPN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Thunder VPN App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Thunder VPN" » Open Thunder VPN - Fast, Safe VPN » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Thunder VPN » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Thunder VPN - Fast, Safe VPN app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Thunder VPN servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Thunder VPN - Fast, Safe VPN" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Thunder VPN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Thunder VPN might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Thunder VPN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Thunder VPN then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Thunder VPN not working
2. Fix Thunder VPN Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Thunder VPN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Thunder VPN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Thunder VPN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
