It seems that the "communication" with the output device is still left to my phone, rather than being forced to a specific output resolution, which is what I was hoping to achieve.How can I use this app using the phone default resolution? I have managed to casting out the phone screen in portrait mode and just want to use the dim screen function in this app.

3. It was working pretty well using a touchscreen monitor to turn my phone into a tablet.

5. However, while the display itself goes to 1080p, the output is still 4k30.
