I do not want to pay either cause I do not wish to pay for sneaky ideas.Your app is so good, but let me suggest some features that might be involved: - Enabling multi-selection editing; to be able to edit, as an example, a single surname for many people at once (all of members of that family, or just some of them by selecting) - Optimization of the family-tree chart to be more effective (and specially, make the branches more related by removing the buttons leading to next/previous generation, and replacing them by just swiping) finally, a lite version might be used.I have used this apps for almost a year now, with more than 4000 family members, dead and alive.

2. This makes the work attaching photos basically useless for the long term.I downloaded the free version without being aware about the limitations: only up to 150 family members.

3. Export and share feature is very convenient, however, it would be useful if we have the option to hide the descendants of a chosen sibling especially one with many children.One of the few free apps that can import and export gedcom files.

4. Also, the created file should be able to protect using a password preferably.we have a very big family so I love the ability which enables me to add relatives as I go along and link them to the appropriate members later.

5. But to my great dissapointment, not the free version was updated but the new app was installed without an option to copy all 150 connections I had already entered into the free version! I tried to get in touch with developers but no reply for over a week! Very dissapointing!Have had this app for many years.

6. Hopefully the authors will come out with an update pretty soon.I would have given 5 star, if I could share the saved data to another person, who can view the same data using the same app in his mobile and who can also update the data and share to multiple users.

7. I made a tree of 254 members and decided to export the data.

8. I export my Family Tree in Ged format from my PC and import it into this app.

9. Can it be set to start at a particular person? I did find a workaround by editing my last name with a parenthesis, space, surname, parenthesis.

10. But two stars are deducted because those photos can't be exported as part of the updated GEDCOM file.

1. Fix Family Tree Maker Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Family Tree Maker: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Family Tree Maker App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Family Tree Maker" » Open Family Tree Maker - FamilyGTG » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Family Tree Maker » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Family Tree Maker - FamilyGTG app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Family Tree Maker servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Family Tree Maker - FamilyGTG" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Family Tree Maker app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Family Tree Maker might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Family Tree Maker. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Family Tree Maker then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Family Tree Maker not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Family Tree Maker be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
