Why should I report an Issue with FamilyGTG - Family Tree?

FamilyGTG app allows you to build your family tree or import your family's GEDCOM file so you can easily check your family while you are on the go. - Create new family tree directly from the device (family tree maker). - Import GEDCOM genealogy files easily (GEDCOM Viewer). - Export family trees to GEDCOM files (send via email or store on device). - Add and remove family members, and set relations between them. - View member's full profile: relatives, personal info, and photo. - Edit member information (name, birth, marriage details, note, etc. ). - Navigate through descendants & ancestors tree for a specific member. - Add some members to bookmarks list for easy reference later. - Browse events calendar (birth, marriage, ... ) for each month.

1. The app seems to search endlessly.Wonderful way for me to take my gedcom files with me! I tried several free ones and this one did what I needed, so I upgraded to the paid version years ago.

2. Hope they have a PC version! Had a small tree of 250 odd members and 100 odd pics but it started growing lately.. Had a crossed family from Mother' side and Father's side..so had duplicate members from both sides.

3. Rooms for improvement might be to enable the apps to be used on laptops to facilitate printing in many layout options.I love the app, even recently paid for the full version.

4. Hoped this may be the app to do it, but it doesn't seem to.I have installed the full paid version of FamilyGTG 2 years ago and have been using it until 2 weeks ago.

5. Read and write The first option will be for family members you want to share the backup and they can only access it, while the 2nd one is for users backup to access and can make changes/modify the tree.

6. A pity I now find that the other version of the app works but this, paid for version does not.

8. After paying for the full version, why do I still have access to the free version? Very confusing.

9. For the free version, the app could warn users when they're about to reach the limits and not after, when it is too late to save their updates.

1. Fix FamilyGTG Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FamilyGTG: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FamilyGTG App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FamilyGTG" » Open FamilyGTG - Family Tree » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FamilyGTG » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FamilyGTG - Family Tree app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FamilyGTG servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FamilyGTG - Family Tree" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FamilyGTG app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FamilyGTG might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FamilyGTG. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FamilyGTG then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FamilyGTG not working

2. Fix FamilyGTG Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FamilyGTG be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FamilyGTG not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FamilyGTG may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
