1. The camera video is good quality, but that only goes so far with such a limited by design program.I like the system, but I really wish I could export video clips by selecting a start and end time, and not have to manually let my device play the video while recording.

2. All the options, settings and functions are scattered about on seperate screens, the alarm and recording for motion settings are horrific, and it seems to be missing some relatively simple key features.

3. I sure wish there was a way that they could modify this app and software on the DVR to allow the user to set motion detection sensitivity for individual zones on a camera.

4. Also, since the update cameras that are on motion record will only play back until that motion has stopped, it will not skip forward to the next motion recording on its own.

5. It would also really help if it were possible to fast forward from the mobile app and pc studio, especially if I could fast forward while recording? ( it takes too long to capture relevent clips when they have to play at real time.

6. It completely destroys all of the great new features that are continually being included.Excellent overhaul! EZVIZ has changed a lot since the last time I used it.

7. However, I continuously find my choice to use the SD storage had been switched (and not by me) to the cloud storage selection, where I find an ad for deals on cloud service that I am not interested in.

8. Its motion activated recording oftens misses important events.

9. All said, great work, EZVIZ!Works great only issue I have is with time or time zone.

10. Features are rich, navigation is easy, and all settings are condensed into a single menu, rather than spread across two or three different places.

11. The only ad which I've come across is from EZVIZ and offers the option of purchasing cloud storage, but most of their products have a microSD slot for local storage.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EZVIZ Issues

1. Fix EZVIZ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EZVIZ: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EZVIZ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EZVIZ" » Open EZVIZ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EZVIZ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EZVIZ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EZVIZ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EZVIZ" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EZVIZ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EZVIZ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EZVIZ. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EZVIZ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EZVIZ not working


2. Fix EZVIZ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EZVIZ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EZVIZ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EZVIZ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
