Starting with the 'integration' (theft) of brightness into the app itself, whose control is overlayed in the same position as some rediculous fast-page-jump slider (get ready to lose your place over and over again), and ending with the fact that cropping and zoom are no longer features or saved, means your manual zoom confuses the internal bookmark when you return.It's difficult to get into settings (not obvious how to get into settings at a book level.

2. Removing one star due to continued frustration over this poorly designed app.I love this app for reading books, but I can't figure out how to zoom in on pictures, so graphic novels are out.

3. At one point I somehow opened up a slider at the bottom of the page that took me about halfway through the book, I can't for the life of me figure out how to recreate that menu now that I want to go back so I have to scroll backwards.

4. I highly suggested testing it out on a free book before wasting any money.I wish that the login option mattered with imported books.

5. Overall, this app feels unfinished and buggy.Not for nothing, I've been using this e-reader app for all my offline ebooks and pdf files for about seven or eight years (trying to remember how long I've had my RCA tablet) and have not had one problem nor one complaint about the application.

7. Would be great if there was a paid option so I could continue using.App may be ok for reading on a phone, but it is not good for reading on a tablet.

1. Fix Ebook Reader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ebook Reader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ebook Reader App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ebook Reader" » Open Ebook Reader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ebook Reader » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ebook Reader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ebook Reader servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ebook Reader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ebook Reader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ebook Reader might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ebook Reader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ebook Reader then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ebook Reader not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ebook Reader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.

3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ebook Reader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
