Dunkin’ Customer Insights

1. Other problems include listing (and charging you for) items that aren't even carried by the store at which you're ordering them (frequent issue), long load times, and offers appearing in your cart then dropping.Flawed at best.

2. I live 5 miles from the nearest DD, so I have to prepare my order and then hope it doesn't time out or that the battery management software on the phone doesn't kill the app before I get there.

3. Then I'm stuck having to reenter my order at red lights.The app says it applies coupons automatically at the register, but it charged full price for me.

4. At a minimum, though, the app needs to load instantly, load dynamic data asynchronously, and allow you to display your QR codes without having loaded any data at all.I have ordered 4 times through the app.

5. When trying to choose customized donut selection, add to order button is grayed out, no matter what you are selecting.

6. But I can't place an drive thru order, won't complete the order and won't allow for additional funds to be added.

7. I want to love the app and rewards but just don't because of the inconvenience and having soooo many missing points.Seems to be an issue lately.

8. Ordering "conveniently" through the app should actually be convenient! The level of frustration to order something makes me just give up and go to a competitor with a less complicated platform.

9. I went in store once and placed an order and my mobile order was at the end of the counter that supposedly didn't go through.

10. One improvement would be to allow us to place our order, but actually queue it until we press a "I'm Arriving" or "Make It" button.

11. Too often it doesn't see any stores "within 50 miles" despite a favorite store being about a block away (or three more along the drive to work).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Dunkin’ Issues

1. Fix Dunkin’ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Dunkin’: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Dunkin’ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dunkin’" » Open Dunkin’ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dunkin’ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Dunkin’ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dunkin’ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dunkin’" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Dunkin’ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dunkin’ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Dunkin’. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dunkin’ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dunkin’ not working


2. Fix Dunkin’ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dunkin’ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dunkin’ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dunkin’ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I used to eat here regularly but am not vegan so never eat here. I just don’t think it’s useful to keep my account
