1. A fix would be great, I use the app for sales as well as regular browsing.I absolutely love Discogs and used it all the time, but recently (April 2023) it has become completely unusable, taking forever to load anything and crashing often.
2. All you can really do and look at your private collection, that's all that works. The interface and layout and general functionality are near perfect but I just got a new phone and now it keeps crashing and/or refusing to load.
3. Easy to navigate and if you're looking for that one special item to buy, the search function really is great.
4. the worst thing is that, when scrolling through images quickly, the server seems to incorrectly detect that I am botting/image scraping (just a guess) and blocks my device from loading images.
5. the issue goes away after a little while which is why I assume it's blocking me on purposeMarch '23 update: works fine so far, the recent update seemed to help.
6. Even has a want list so when that item comes up for sale you get notifications.Overall a nice app with clean UI; the fact that they even have an app for Discogs makes it better than web-only options like Rateyourmusic.
7. The images don't load sometimes but at least I can use the barcode scanner if the release is specific.
8. Usually a great app, recently started behaving like there isn't an internet connection (site works fine in browser).
9. That being said, there's a pretty app-breaking bug for me on Pixel 3A: whenever I go to My Collection, it instantly shows me a random item from my collection as a pop-up.
10. Update: while that issue is fixed, it seems like every 5 listings you look at makes the images stop loading.
11. I will not be using the site until then. The app doesn't do anything, everytime i try to search it just spins and says nothing in database, but if you go through the website it instantly finds it.
Hello, since you change the sellers setting i keep receive orders without the shipping. And the buyers simply go all the way with payment. Then i have to cancel the order and return the money to the buyer. In this process I don´t sell the record and have to pay the fee to Pay Pal. I'm feed up with this and thinking of quit the discogs after all this years.
