Symbolab Customer Insights
1. So if you want the worst calculator app with the greediest devs, who honestly don't deserve any of the money they're charging for a simple, low quality app, then this is it.It's a fantastic app and works really well for showing problems with full steps and everything but I don't appreciate how you have to pay for features on mobile that you can get for free on the desktop website, I get that an app developer needs to make money somehow but it doesn't seem fair.
2. I like to check my work for math due to having dyslexic/dyscalculia, and Symbolab does this near-perfectly! Sometimes the steps they show can cause more confusion, but overall this is an excellent app for checking your work and learning how to solve many different equations and calculations.
3. You can pay for a subscription to see the broken steps it uses to complete the math, but this doesn't get rid of the adds, doesn't help with the math in any way, and costs entirely way too much, not to mention this app is practically impossible to cancel.
4. The camera isn't perfect and inputting the problems can be a bit tedious, but it beats any source I found online by a long shot.Hello Symbolab! This is such an amazing app! It has really helped me out with all my difficult math problems.
5. Math used to be really hard to get through but now has become super easy and fun for me! I love that it can help you step by step and that their is three different symbolab apps to choose from.
6. Dark mode needs the cursor changedThe step by step explanations really do help you not only solve the problem, but allow you to learn how to do others similar to it on your own.
7. I do have one question though that is if any of the apps have simplifying included? Thank you!The app is great, never had problems with the calculations and the steps make learning incredibly easy.
8. Also going on the website in desktop mode on a phone doesn't work either so that's not an option.I'm so glad I found this app.
9. The app itself is very easy to use, but rarely correct, and instead of telling you it doesn't know how the app just does bad math which is much worse.
10. One thing that bugs me though, when it gives you the option to check another answer to see if it's also correct, it doesn't display the other equations.
11. I don't think paying a subscription is nearly worth it, as there are other free calculators online that can do everything this app can do.Can't use the website on mobile.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Symbolab Issues
1. Fix Symbolab Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Symbolab: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Symbolab App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Symbolab" » Open Symbolab: AI Math Solver » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Symbolab » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Symbolab: AI Math Solver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Symbolab servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Symbolab: AI Math Solver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Symbolab app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Symbolab might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Symbolab. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Symbolab then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Symbolab not working
2. Fix Symbolab Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Symbolab be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Symbolab not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Symbolab may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, please may you cancel my subscription. I contacted you guys on this well over a year ago and probably around 4 times after that. Great app but I'm getting frustrated now. Usually I wouldn't ask this but I have paid this weekly for probably over 1 and a half years while I've not been using it, I used it while studying a long time ago.
