1. I still have to reset sometimes (don't know why), but it doesn't seem to affect the edits or A/V of the footage.I used this app for almost 8 years now, it's gone through a lot of design changes to keep up with the modern internet, but the one thing I absolutely despise is how you make the one choice of making video editing in 9:16 instead of 16:9.

They worked flawlessly once I upgraded I don't know if that is on purpose but it looked like I should have been able to use them on the demo mode.it has locked up and i had to restart 3 times in the first 30 minutes of me using it on my chromebook, however i actually like it when it is working Okay...every 5 minutes i have to reboot my chromebook when using this app.

3. The number of options for transitions, title cards, and editing features is incredible!This app made me the star of family events making beautiful videos from still photos & vids since 2020.

4. I dont make youtube videos but this would be perfect! Highly reccomended good job power derector! (Also no adds!) So many people are reviewing for the first time negativelly after being stisfied for years.

5. My other Mobile app I was using added $100 to the yearly price so I needed to switch.While at first it was a bit fickle to get the hang of, once you understand how the files function and how to manipulate things, this app is incredibly versatile and effective.

6. Vids that are available on my drive yet"?"or cannot play video error when I know the vid should play and preview it lags & glitches way too much for me.It is amazing! I tryed so many apps and this one is the only one worth it.

7. For the amount of work you have to do just to get pics and vids for a 15-30 minute video, to have the app repeatedly crash and you're needing to restart it,losing work-is a no for me.

8. Making a 16:9 video is now even harder because most of the time, you can't see the individual touches you put into a video, until you've produced it, and it can't be edited anymore.

9. Excellent! I originally started using this for reviews and I absolutely love it because it's super easy to use and I can clip out middle sections of videos.

10. I can't imagine professional film makers using a free app and they've made it ridiculously tiresome for amateurs.Pretty easy to use.

11. I have used it for years but, recently there has been a big issue where the app sometimes crashes or stops after I make one small edit or change something small.

1. Fix PowerDirector Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart PowerDirector: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the PowerDirector App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PowerDirector" » Open PowerDirector - Video Editor » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PowerDirector » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear PowerDirector - Video Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PowerDirector servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PowerDirector - Video Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check PowerDirector app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PowerDirector might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall PowerDirector. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PowerDirector then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PowerDirector not working

2. Fix PowerDirector Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PowerDirector be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PowerDirector not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PowerDirector may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
