When I look it up online this seems to have been an issue frequently over the years 😥 I really liked it, but I can't USE what I paid for nowThe tools are basic, the brushes don't paint as shown in the selection menu and the symmetry function apparently decides when it's going to work and when it's not.

2. And you CANNOT select a style to apply only to a PORTION of the image!! Basic free programs from 8 years ago had "stylize" buttons--& they didn't take seconds to apply! Undo button doesn't undo EVERYTHING from the stylizer.

3. This program might be good for giving photos an artistic effect, but not for drawing from scratch - and considering this is Corel, I'm highly disappointed.Love this app! I can recreate so many photos just doing the parts I love in the process of drawing, and painting.

4. *After 1 week, EVERY tool, style, etc requires a purchase (several tools or styles/purchase, but cannot use it without buying stuff).This app is what I expected in the beginning.

6. Also you need to pay to use layers?? But i guess in the traditional medium there's no layers to begin with, but I've been too comfortable with using layers for so long, and all of a sudden, you need to pay to use this feature????? Does.

7. Edit: I looked this up after a week and I was able to purchase the full version, whatever happened before didn't occur this time.

8. Part of me wishes it had more tools, like a lasso to edit part of the layers, but there's something nice with it being simple and you can still resize layers and stuff.

1. Fix Painter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Painter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Painter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Painter" » Open Painter Mobile » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Painter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Painter Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Painter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Painter Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Painter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Painter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Painter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Painter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Painter not working

2. Fix Painter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Painter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Painter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Painter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
