1. Initial sign in time and navigation throughout the app are all sluggish - When returning to the app after opening it, doing other things, then reopening it, it often crashes - There is no biometric or smart lock option to login.

2. Loading takes forever and, after trying a search, goes back to the beginning and forces you to enter the entire information again (it seems incapable of remembering anything).

3. This is awful UXI'm not sure what apps are thinking lately by not allowing autofill, but if I have to look up my password, enter my pin, and cut and paste the password every time I want to use the app then I no longer have any use for the app.

4. It also always ask for 2 step authentication even though I click remember this device.The myCigna app is so bad on my Pixel 7 Pro that it sometimes causes the entire phone to freeze, until I get the option to close the app.

5. If I deny the app access to my phone's location, it doesn't allow me to search for dentists from a location I designate.

6. Chrome works on my phone just fine, and autofill works there as well, so I can complete my task a little more discretely and without compromising my entire phone security.

7. I click "close" on the covid info pop up, and then it will start loading the sign in page, but NEVER finishes, no matter how long I've kept it up.

8. If I dare to open a link to read more (in a browser) then go back to the app, it either crashes or I have to start my search again.This app sucks.

9. Unacceptable!!This app sucks! Every time I sign in I either get locked out or have to change my password.

10. I wouldn't have resorted to this app in the first case, but the regular (browser) version is almost unusable and rarely comes up with the same search results twice (if any).

11. I'm done.It used to work before the update in March of 2021, but as soon as I updated it, it stopped letting me sign in.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myCigna Issues

1. Fix myCigna Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myCigna: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myCigna App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myCigna" » Open myCigna » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myCigna » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myCigna app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myCigna servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myCigna" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myCigna app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myCigna might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myCigna. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myCigna then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myCigna not working


2. Fix myCigna Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myCigna be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myCigna not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myCigna may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
